Set the scene this Halloween with a simple monochromatic palette. Black and white decor will help create a spooky environment without being too scary for some of your little goblins. By starting with a simple foundation, you are able to adjust the fear factor according to the age group of your guests!
We chose red velvet cupcakes for our sweet treat! The contrast of the black baking cup with white frosting and red interior gives a spectacular pop of color! For cupcake toppers we found a mold for the tombstones, however, you could use anything to decorate your baked goods!
We styled our party with antiqued silver candle holders, painted pumpkins and glittering faux spiders which stay true to the mono color palette! These beautifully ornate skulls were re purposed into vases. By scattering the remaining flowers throughout the table along with a few more spiders we added a touch of class to the frightful festivities!
The best part is if you’ve dried your gourds you can store them and use them again as a centerpiece for your Thanksgiving celebration!
