There are going to be so many unforgettable moments during your next party. The specialness of these moments is why we don’t mind going through so much work to plan, decorate, cook, clean and entertain. Sure all those jobs have their own fun little quirks but still – it’s a lot of work! Holding on to these perfect little moments, and getting the opportunity to share them with all everyone makes it all more than worth it.
Taking Photos
What better way to make sure the special moments from your party are preserved forever than capturing them with a photograph? And not just the moments, but the scenes and decorations too! After all your hard work is done, in the brief calm before the storm of guests arrive, take chance to grab a few photos. Centerpieces, place settings, gift bags, are all great subjects for photography. Get shots of all the cute little details you have put into each piece. Don’t forget to take a photo of the entire scene too!
Once your guests start arriving things are going to get a little chaotic. It can be easy to get swept up by your hosting duties. You forget to actually enjoy yourself, and before you know it the party is over. Setting aside some time to take picture is a great way to avoid falling into this trap. By now the party is probably managing itself. Why not take a few steps back is see how much people are enjoying themselves? Get out your camera and take some picture of your party in action. You will treasure having a few photographs of people socializing, eating, drinking, dancing, and having a good time. Later you can show off these awesome pics as a way to get people excited for the next event you throw!
